Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients:
250g cranberries
175g sugar
zest of a small orange
140 ml water

Method:
  1. Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to the boil, while stirring continuously.
Simmer for about 10 minutes or until the cranberries are tender.
  2. Remove from the heat and stir well. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
  3. The sauce can be served immediately or kept in the fridge for later. Traditionally, cranberry sauce is served with turkey, especially for Christmas dinner. It also tastes great with French brie on a sandwich.
