Scottish berries and currants are a high quality product, with a wide range of applications for businesses of all sizes. Traditionally used in the production of jams and conserves, the fruit is currently used by Scottish businesses to make everything from to steamed puddings to fruit wines. New areas of interest for the berry market include the dairy and soft drink sectors and Berry Scotland are keen to speak to any companies interested in developing in these areas. Scottish fruit is currently available as whole fruit (fresh or frozen), frozen pure fruit puree or asceptic pure fruit puree.
